Michelle Rubin, Student Program Intern

Michelle is currently studying Biology at the University of St. Thomas. As a daughter of two Russian immigrants, she was taught to make the best of every situation. Whether living in Minnesota, Canada or Texas, Michelle has always been actively involved in the Jewish and science communities. Because of this desire to be involved, she is entering her second year as a member of the Houston Hillel Student Board.

Michelle is also currently involved in research at Baylor College of Medicine, fulfilling one of her dreams. Although she has only lived in Houston for a little over a year, Michelle has come to consider Houston her home. Once she graduates from St. Thomas, Michelle hopes to attend Baylor College of Medicine and earn a PhD in genetics.
